ABOUT ME

ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST | WRITER | SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER | DIGITAL MARKETER

While most parents hide candy from their kids, mine hid copies of People Magazine on top of the refrigerator. My passion for storytelling led me to pursue a BA degree in Journalism with a focus in Broadcasting from Indiana University. Throughout my university years I interviewed a variety of individuals, including kidnapping survivor Elizabeth Smart and Grammy Award-winning DJ Walshy Fire of Major Lazer.

In-between producing both print and on-air stories for IU, I wrote numerous published press releases for talent management company CLST City, spent the summer of 2019 producing social content for Cumulus Media’s live events and concerts, and fully dove into the world of entertainment at Highland Film Group in Los Angeles, writing script coverage and editing synopses for potential movies, as well as providing feedback on teaser trailers, posters, and billing blocks.

Postgraduate life led me to become Marketing Coordinator at supplement & vitamin shop Health Spot, curating social posts and brainstorming campaigns focused on providing health, fitness, and product information to potential customers. I then dove back into the Hollywood sphere when I became a Social Media Manager at Viking Social Agency, working on film campaigns for Sony Pictures Entertainment and The Avenue. I have spent the last two years as a Lead Entertainment Host and writer at FabTV, covering press junkets, red carpets, Hollywood premieres and award shows, such as the Oscars, and doing freelance social media marketing.

When not reporting or helping with socials, I enjoy traveling, writing, and attending live music events.
